This is a fantastic opportunity to get some of the country's rarest and most beautiful fowls bred to perfection on my property in the Yarra Valley of Victoria.

FRENCH WHEATEN and CLAY MARANS

There are French Marans available from 14 – 17 weeks, - in both clay or traditional wheaten colours. They are exceptional birds So hard to get and even harder to get the real thing. Layers of the darkest egg in the world (for which they are famous) these birds are just approaching maturity and can be bred from in March. They have been personally selected from one of 5 different lines and are really hardy and healthy birds.
Because of their rarity I am only prepared to offer them as pairs for a pre-Christmas steal of $150 per pair.

SILVER SPANGLED HAMBURGHS

These gorgeous birds are beautifully marked ready for the show! Their lustrous silver sheen and spotted distinctive spangle make them immediate favourites to anyone visiting my yards.
They not only have looks but they are fantastically docile and friendly and being smaller in stature make ideal pets for kids. They are called the everyday layer and at the moment they are not wrong! Both pullets and cockerels are available at the moment from 6 weeks to 16 weeks old.

BLUE, BLACK or SPLASH ANDALUSIANS

This aristocratic and majestic fowl is something to behold. I have a really good flock of chickens from 6 weeks to 17 weeks old. The blues are naturally what everyone wants but with this breed once you know the parent stock you can see what you will get. Smart buyers are grabbing this combination for, cross a white rooster with a black pullet and you are guaranteed all blues! Yet they are 1/3rd. less than buying the blues. Makes sense.
