What the difference between the 2 golden pheasants I was told there are 2 of them 1 is the red golden and the other is dark throated but how do you tell the difference please

If you look at PA's mutation banded pied you will see the dark throat as it is a mutation of the dark throat mutation and a nice one at that. viewtopic.php?f=2&t=6479

Is the normal red golden dominant over the mutation dark throat so in other words if I was to pair a red male to a dark female would I get all red golden or a mix of both. Sorry I know nothing about the genetics bits of birds but want the learn from you guys
