My first 2 peacocks were 4 months old when I got them and they are full brothers and to this day 4 years latter they get on so well together even after we got 2 peahens 2 years ago they still all are happy together and a happy family. I do believe that its all because they grew up together and bonded from birth |

As I am yet to buy mine I will have to look to make sure they are younger and already together so I don't have troubles |

So anyway Tolmie, what colours, subspecies, patterns do you keep/breed? I would still love to see some pics even if you e-mail me privately? Just wondering if you have any for sale? i am thinking of making a bit of a peafowl purchasing trip with my parents and would like to pick up some birds at different places, so i thought it would be good to get some from you??? after this season of course... |

I have most available in oz but mostly blue pieds and white I have focused on pieds for a long time now so happy with the basic pieds and loud pieds {reverse they are now called} I bred up from scratch but did manage to pick up 2 super pieds from PA 2 years ago which helped with more % white patches. Zip for sale now maybe feb/march will let you know but you will have to be quick as I sell them through the local paper and many come 100's km to buy my birds. |

I think that is the best option also the younger they are they seem to settle it quicker and learn to accept any other birds you have |

Yes the younger the better and you can hand tame them much easier |
