What would be the minimum pen space required if I had just one peacock . We are on small acerage but we have vast machinery shed for the trucks so room is very limited. I won't be letting him out ever as the dogs would eat him for sure. I love the colours of a peacock and would love to keep one

For an animal which can roam over acres I can't help but think 4 metres x 4 metres is very small. :(

Here's an earlier thread from someone else asking about minimum land size to house a peacock.

It would have to be 10 x 10 feet = 100 Square feet

I have mine at 20 x 20 = 400 Square feet and that is enough room

If you can make yours 50 x 50 feet by all mean do so the more room the better and you could add a few more peafowl to that size
