I have a question as a newbie to peafowl

If I buy a male and female white peacock will all the chicks be white or do they have the normal blue peacocks aswell

I am sorry if this is a stupid question but never had them before

Ok first the female {hen} is called a peahen only the male {cockbird} is a peacock.

Breeding white to white = 100% white peachicks

This forum does not believe there is a stupid question {only stupid people - not you} so ask any question you like

It ok many just call them peacocks heck there's people out there that claim to have had them 38-39 years and know nothing about them not even the most basics so you are doing better than them [smilie=a_goodjobson.gif]

If you breed a pied to white you will get both pied and white peachicks usually 50/50

Your welcome :-D some will learn and others will not even after the claim to have had them 38-39 years which we all know is BS. If you want to know anything just ask all the top breeders are on the forum without exception so you know its all quality help and info [smilie=a_goodjobson.gif]
