THE NATHALIA & DISTRICT LIONS CLUB WILL BE STARTING THEIR FIRST OF FIVE AUCTIONS PER YEAR ON SATURDAY 20TH MARCH 2010.

The auctions has chickens, roosters, ducks, turkeys, geese, peacocks, guinea fowl - all sorts of things with feathers depending on availability will be auctioned, including cross bred, pure bred, rare breeds & also fertile eggs...

Sundries are auctioned preceding the main Poultry Auction; this can include cages, feeders and a wide variety of other poultry & non-poultry items.

BOOKING OF PENS/CAGES IS NECESSARY.

Bookings close Noon Wednesday 17th March 2010.

Vendors - Penning of Poultry - 7am. ALL BIRDS MUST BE REGISTERED, PENED/CAGED AND LOCKED IN PRIOR TO AUCTION.

Buyers can register from 7am onwards... A registration number is essential for Buying or Selling... Sundries Auctioned at 9.30am prior to the Poultry Auction 10.00am.

Please bring suitable cages or containers for transportation of your purchases; it is illegal to transport live birds to or from the auction in any type of bags or tied by their feet in bundles.

The Nathalia & District Lions Club has the right of refusal to any birds that are sick, diseased, showing symptoms of scaly leg mite or deemed to be in a poor condition.

VENUE - The Cattle Pavilion; is sign posted from the roundabout in the main street (Blake St) near the bridge at Broken Creek. Follow the signs to the 1st Recreation Reserve entrance between the tennis courts & swimming pool follow the dirt road to the Cattle Pavilion next to the Nathalia Footy Ground & you’re there.

WHERE IS IT – Nathalia is situated in the Goulburn Valley, Northern Victoria along the Murray Valley Hwy, North of Shepparton & slightly West not far from the Murray River.
