Thanks for that - I'll look for it in the local produce store.

Are you supposed to worm poultry and pigeons 4 times a year? some sites say 2 times some sites say once but the bottle says 4 times?

It all depends on your situation. ie stocking density; local environmental conditions; how long poultry have been run on the same ground.

If you have a large number of birds in a confined area, moist substrate, do not quarantine & worm birds when you first buy them then you will likely have a high environmental load of worm eggs so you may need to worm four times a year.

If you keep a few birds over a larger area & live in a dry inland environment then worms are likely to be less of a problem and you can get away with worming less frequently.

I only have 12 chickens and 8 pigeons and the chickens are out all day on the property which is 10 acres and the pigeons get let out once a day for a fly so do you think twice would be ok for me?

More than likely you'd be ok. If you start having problems you can always worm more often.

Take a poo sample to your vet and have them take a look under the microscope.
