Silverbeet was what I happened to have growing in abundance at the time but any leafy vegetable or other tidbit will be welcomed by the girls.

That's great as Silverbeet is $6 a bunch at the supermarket, $5 at the market at present.

I grow my own green leave vegs inc silverbeet so its just a short walk to the veg garden for me

Silverbeet tends to grow most of the year here in Melbourne.

No you just cut up the green leafy part and not the stalk they don't eat that or at least mine don't anyway
