Can I splint a silky hen that I think has a broken leg? She will not walk on it and when I checked her the leg is floppy and very cold like there is no blood circulating in the leg If I splint her leg will it heal do you think? |

You should take her to vet to make sure it is broken and to get antibiotics to stop infection other wise she may die from the injury |

I have to agree but unless it is an important bird I would not bother as it will be costly and they will not guarantee they can fix it. |
