Yellow Sulphur

Hello

Does anyone use yellow sulphur powder for their poultry?

If so, what exactly is it used for?

How much does one need to mix in their water and or feed?

Yes I do I mix 50% stock Sulphur and 50% cooking salt there is a pot in all my chook pigeon and aviary bird cages for 25+ years .

So does one just mix the yellow sulphur and cooking salt, I gather that the cooking salt is for its iodine content and as a preservative and put it in a separate container as like the shell grit for the birds to access at random and when in need?

Yes just mix 50-50 and put in a container in there pen you want to put it where it will not get wet .Just put a small amount in the pen for a start for the first day or so you dont want them geting a gut full of salt .

Is sulphur D in the liquid the same purpose as the plain sulphur?
