I am very very surprised to still see Poultry websites suggesting the use of hydrating lime in poultry care when it is a burning dangerous lime that should not be ingested.

So am I [smilie=a_holycrap.gif] good to see not here

Either levamisole (Big L or Avitrol), Moxidectin (Cydectin) or Worm-out Gel . Some of these are not registered for poultry but work well. Worm-out also comes in tablets( 1 per 2 kg bodyweight) and is great for making sure that the birds get their dose if you give it direct to beak.

Obviously if you have lots of birds then using one of the others in the drinking water is more practical.

Whichever one you use just be sure to follow the directions supplied and avoid treating in very hot or wet weather.

I like the direct to the beak that way you know they got it.
