Hi, I don't know if this is the right place or not, but: I have a gosling that picks on its siblings. It (I think a he) pulls at their wing feathers and pulls until the victim gets away and then mostly eats the feather that is left behind. I have never had one do this before and need to know what to do I have had to clean one little one up and put betadine on the wings where it was actually bleeding a bit. I kept the culprit separate last night and will do so tonight as the nursery prevents the others from getting away from it. I thank you in advance for any insight you may have. |

I keep the bully separate at night but I cant during the day. They free range during the day. He doesn't touch the others unless they get too close. He even chased a duck off this morning in the coup. I am selling 3 tomorrow but he will not be going with them. That will leave 4 including him. |

Maybe he was bullied when he was young? |

Not that I noticed. I have sold 3 now and only have 4 left. Hoping that he calms down. He is what I call pied. Nice looking bird but no room for bullies. I have never had this problem before and I have had geese now for about 13yrs. Maybe he will calm down, I hope so. |

Could be that. He has calmed down a bit. They are not restricted to the nursery at night now. They mingle with the ducks and have more room to move. Still locked up at night though. Growing fast. |
