Top one is a possibly a White Faced Cinnamon Pearl, or Cinnamon Pearl need a photo of her face.

Bottom one is a Whiteface or Whiteface Pied also would need a clearer photo of it's face.

My cockatiel Georgie is Pied.

Cockatiels are happy birds to keep.

Oops, I forgot to attach the photo of Georgie!

awwww cute... i've got a couple of cockatiels too... i've always had them... probably my favourite small parrot.

no idea what your birds are but they both sure are pretty... never been in to learning the different mutations but sure have seen some pretty ones over the years.

these are my two, "Dude" the normal grey is super friendly ... "Scaredy" is named because when she came here as a baby she was obviously freaking out when first put in her cage and new surrounding and my son decided to name her then and there. She is much calmer now but not friendly at all.. they two dont even like each other.

No wonder "Scaredy" is scared of "Dude" with the ghost pattern on his cape!

Cockatiels are great pets, bigger than a budgie and smaller than a cockatoo! They are very huggable, my cousin's hen even nests in his hair!

If you start off with only one cockatiel, they normally bond with their human, so introducing a another cockatiel of opposite or same sex at a later date may be difficult as the original bird as already bonded with you and you are they mate.

you can always hand rear and tame the babies

The problem with cockatiel couples is that if one or the other or both have bonded with a human they may never mate. My cousin had a female cockatiel that he hand reared from a chick, his girlfriend had a male cockatiel that she had hand raised also from a chick, her parents didn't like the noise he made so Frankie came to live with Betty and well they just weren't interested in one another and Betty would attack Frankie do they ended up in separate cages, having separate free flying times.

Poor Betty died recently from being egg bound :(
