Can you candle all the same way inc quails eggs?

Good info PP.

I heard a bit about kiwi's recently and they apparently have two air sacs in their eggs just before they hatch. How interesting is that? I've been trying to find something about it in writing but haven't had much luck so far. They take up to 80 days to hatch too.

Yes all the same except dark or speckled eggs are not as easy to see.

Some quail such as Bob White have white eggs are are very easy to do. Japanese quail are not so easy, but you can see the general darkness or lightness of the egg to see if they are developing and the aircell.
