We lost our power today right in the middle of the Guinea fowl hatching. Its expected to be out may till the morning. In the meantime I have managed to get the incubator working on battery power but thats about to give out and there are still half the eggs to hatch. I guess those will now be a lose but what to do with the ones that have hatched. ? We do have some week old Silky chicks which we could put them in with for some body heat. Any other suggestions ?

Looks like we lost half the eggs but the ones that did hatch are still alive and well with the Silkies. 8 is better than none.
