I have to pekin ducks that I think are a duck and a drake; how do I tell for sure? when can I tell for sure? what age will she lay? what age will they breed? Any advice or information would be great :-) I also have to Saxony bantams coming; the drake is 12months the duck is 10 weeks; when can I put them together? when will they breed? When will she lay? How do you sex them? any information and advice would be great.

The ducks (females) quack loudly even from a young age 4-5 week onwards and the drakes (males) make a lower grumbling sound. Also the drakes tail feather curls at maturity. |

Saxony have very distinct differences in their voices from drakes and ducks like the pekins but the sounds are different. The ducks is like a honk, deep and loud The drake is very quiet and low |
