They sell from $1500 upwards I think they were on farmstock about 6 months ago

You do know they are aggressive when breeding and I mean aggressive to you and every thing else other fowl, dogs, cats, everything so think long and hard before handing over your cash because they are hard to sell and you may ge stuck with them

Yes, I do know what devils they are. We have a dam that we can see from the house but we don't go to that often with no other fowl around it....is also beside the, driveway so I could feed them from the car. Lol. They won't attack a Pajero will they?

The research I've done indicates that a swan requires a minimum of 40 metres to take flight from the water, without that they would be easy prey for predictors. This info came from various articles via google so I can't vouch personally for its accuracy.

Domestic kept swans do not fly they will be pinioned so they cannot fly away so you do not need 40 or even 20 meters. A normal size pond on 4 or 5 meters by 2 or 3 meter is enough for 1 pair
