Well that is enough to cause a big problem in the future so they need to remove them asap

If you report them to the local council they have to act as those canadian geese are forien and concidered as vermin and must be destroyed

I think any foreign waterfowl on our waterways should be shot on sight they have right to be there

At the least they should be captured and removed I think shooting them is a little harsh its not the duck fault

Catching them is far more humane and they can then live out their lives without interfering with the native fowl

The only problem with that is if they are alive still there is a chance they can escape again so better off eliminating them all together

You can't be serious Onesducks.
These are birds which are relatively hard to obtain in captivity. They are captive birds which have either accidentally escaped or deliberately released by some misguided person.
If we follow your logic then all exotic waterfowl should be exterminated from captivity. I can't see keepers of Mute swans, Carolina, Mandarin ducks, scaup, ruddy shelducks etc agreeing.
And following on from that every macaw, conure, amazon parrot,lovebird,racing pigeon, waxbill, canary should be killed, just in case it escapes and forms a feral population.

It's just not going to happen.

No one wants to see feral populations establishing in the wild, but I think your argument is flawed, no disrespect intended.

Yes very serious I do not like non natives in this country and believe there is no place for them. Just remember what happened with Rabbits, Foxes, Cane Toads and the list goes on. I only have native birds here and always will.
