Hi there I was wondering what the black east indies are like to keep as compared to my current collection of ducks. I have Mandarin, Teal and Blue Swedish also a few of the common ducks like pekin ect......would these indies need a diet any different to those guys? Are they good breeding ducks?

Any advice would be so good

Thanks
Jill

They are very simple to keep and as you have mandarins and other ducks just follow the same diet they are not fussy and like the other common ducks will take to eating most scraps

I had a feeling that was the case but I am used to the more exotic waterfowl than the common ones so just checking. Do they nest on the ground or in boxes?
