What is the life span of a muscovy duck the female please

Depends on who you ask but I say 7 to 8 years some will say 10-20 years but the large breeds rarely live that long

I heard they cab live for 20 years but none of mine have ever lived passed 8 or 9 years especially the drakes

I would be happy with 8-10 and I had been told it was somewhere around that age.

I have a muscovy duck that is 12 this year but she no longer produces eggs and has trouble walking I think this maybe her last year

12 years would be great but not if they don't breed still

I think if they got to 10 you should be happy especially if they free range with foxes being such a problem these days

I would be happy with 8 years and your right about the foxes and hawks to survive them for 12 years is great

I have a drake that is supposed to be 14 years old but I can't be sure as I have only had him 3 years but he still breed ok not perfect about 50% of the eggs
