Are the cape barrins wild in australia I think I saw a few recently

The Cape Barren Goose (Cereopsis novaehollandiae) is a large goose resident in southern Australia. The species is named for Cape Barren Island

Interesting read I was surprised to read the twenty five thousand Cape Barren goose is still listed as rare. :shock:

They are becoming common in captivity now they are so cheap to buy

Your right there but they will never be that popular as many would not like the look of them compared to most other geese

I was told they are also very noisy and not friendly to pets like dogs and cats true or false?
