Well the funniest thing happened today and even when I think about it now it makes me smile. A couple of days ago I accidently lifted the nesting box lid to check for eggs and interrupted Cara-Mel as well as Babs a little later in the day, well didn't they let me know how upset they were (they sounded like roosters). Since then I haven't been getting any eggs from either of them, or so I thought. Today I heard a little noise coming from under the Rosemary bush near our back steps, I look around to see Cara-Mel step out from under it. So I go and check to see what's going on only to find 5 eggs sitting in there the little rascals have found a new place to lay. I have to say I don't mind and have since apologised to them for asking them to hop up in the nesting box and lay me an egg. I do love my girls they crack me up every day. I have since removed said eggs from under the bush hoping they go back to the proper nesting box.
