Thank you I will pass the nice comments on to my OH. The timber frame and the sleepers around the base is new, the roof iron is new. The iron on the sides is pre loved and we painted it to look better. The ridge capping and the side capping (cant remember the name) is also pre loved. The 2 perches are just clean strong tree branches. They last for ever. I plugged any holes with silicon to stop any leaks when the rain is sideways. Holes that were from other reasons e.g. drill mistake or pre loved holes were also plugged with pop rivets. I have put coarse river sand on top of hard packed clay for the floor. The wire is fairly strong. For during the winter I am going to make canvas drop down curtains on the outside to keep the wind out so the girls will not get so cold. |
