Growing sorghum

We grow sorghum for crops and I use much of the leftovers for stock inc the hens and ducks they do like it green and not so fond it it ripe though

Mine hate the dry ripe sorghum if I buy a bag of mix its all they leave behind

For birds its use to add weight in the bag as its cheap

Yes and way too much per bag

Never hear that. I have heard of corn adding to colour of birds

Sorghum is good for your fowls if you can get them to eat it which I know is not easy but its still worth a small amount being present in the feed

I have never come across any bird that willingly eats the rubbish its only there to add weight to the bag
