Can I use sugar cane mulch in morayfield? is a houso area in Qld and we can "find" free mulch late at night

I tried to put some plants in the coop but the bloody chooks eat it all :x :x :x so now they got nothing ;)

I have wild grass in my aviaries and it does really well even with the parrots chewing it some days it grows even faster

Yeh I have had the same issues but I did fence off a small area just until they fruited and once picked let the chooks in

We do the same and they turn the soil over well

I have the same in the pheasant cages and it seems to keep up with the pecking :-D

Its great for guinea fowls but not so much ducks
