Cut mine down to 30 recently as they got to 70 at one stage and the noise was too much

I wanted them but the noise was too much so settled on geese and now not so sure they are any less noisy

Been off line for a long time.

I have only got 11 guinea and they are lavender pied. Got up to 21 once. I am on 5 acres. They are noisy sometimes but geese are worse when breeding.
Thinking of getting rid of my guinea fowl. I have one alpha breeding pair the rest are their offspring. Some hatched and raised by chooks. Have sold a lot of keets and juveniles over the last 4 years. Mine roost at night with the chickens. Brought up that way.
I sex mine by both their size, wattle and horn, and their noise. The girls get their noise at about 4 or 5 months, sometimes even a little bit earlier.

When I picked up my grain today the place next door has like 50 or more guineas running around the property, they were all out near the road when I saw them and then ran back to the house as I drove past to check them out
