First time I've hatched turkey eggs and either on both wings or 1 wing the feathers stick out.
is this normal?
They are five days old and feed medicated turkey starter. A 7 chicks are like this.

no not normal - the wing could be lazy or slipped or angel wing

keep an eye on it as it grows -
if lazy wing it might improve with age
if slipped, same = age and strenghtening muscles

if angel wing it will stay that way - more common in geese than turkeys tho = often due to poor nutrition in the parent birds leading up to breeding season
sometime inherited tho

Thanks soozorps.
I hatched them for a friend and all of them have their wings like that so might be nutrition/inherited

could be a combination of both
but if all have the same problem I doubt they will improve with age
are they for food or where they for breeding from??
if food not a problem as it doesnt matter which way the wings go they still taste the same
if for breeding = I wouldnt recommend using them :-? :( if it is inherited they will pass it on
