I have been showing turkeys since 1985.
there use to be at sydney royal over 30 birds and more at melbourne.
today

3 years ago there were 2 turkeys at sydney royal.

The local councles have driven many turkey breeders away from there birds as they have also large bird breeders as well.

in days of old you had the following turkey classes

Bronze wing
White
Blue or Slate
And any other colour

Divered in to Young male and female and old male and female.

Now in Sydney you get Bronze or white in one lass and AOC

I won best turkwey at sydney Royal this year with a blue Male.
