I have been trying to get more white on mine but some of the nest the keets have less white than the parents not sure why. Do I need to buy just 1 reverse pied to start me going with them

I have 11 reverse pied keets in the brooder so far for this year 5 with 90% white which is higher than the start last year when I got 3 from the first hatch but ended up with 16 so with a good start should have 30-40 reverse pied keets by January to add to the 28 adults.
