How long after

After the hens lays a few eggs how long after will she start to sit ont eh eggs to hatch them do they have like a certain number of eggs or is it an internal clock?

There is no time frame its all up to the hen and yes her body clock will tell her when its time

I think mine take about 2 weeks but only if a few hen lay eggs in the same nest

I think there is 1 females laying eggs in the nest but so far there is 4 eggs so I am assuming thats not enough to sit on?

No not enough usually more than 20

I have 5 hens but I think its only 2 that are laying

How many hens will lay eggs in the 1 nesting site?

I think I may have 7 hens all laying in the same 1 because so far I have taken 49 eggs and they still keep coming

Is that normal?
