I need honest advice as I think I was ripped off

I purchased 6 pied grey guinea fowls that are supposed to carry the cinnamon and silver colour now they have just hatched 17 chicks 6 days ago and none of them are the cinnamon or silver colour and none have those red eyes as they should have as I read. Do you think the guinea fowls I purchased are not carrying these colours?

I would appreciate your help and advice please so I can take the next step

Oh yes the "Splits" there are halfwits out there making these bizarre claims which 99% are just lies. I have seen crap like pearls split for cinnamon/silver/lavender/pied/ostrich  NO WAY its just crap to try and sell pearls/pearl pieds for more money. Ask how long they have been breeding I bet its 1-3 years and I doubt they have ever breed a keet and they prove time and time again they no nothing about guinea fowl so stay away from these halfwits. I will send you a pm with some names and details also my email address just incase you can't reply

I am sorry you have experienced that, not nice at all, I think more will come forward with the same story I am sure. Just remember hens {females} cannot be split so thats why you did not get silver or cinnamon and you won't until you get a cinnamon or silver hen and if the males are really split which you cannot see. We are seeing a little bit of rubbish about guinea fowls elsewhere but here we set people on the right path with truth and experience and as we are the most popular site its working well. I will try to help you out with a hen at the end of breeding and a genuine split if you would like

Well I wish I joined this form before I purchased them I would not have made that mistake of wasting my money. I will not buy from him ever again thats for sure. Thank you for the very generous offer cinnguinea I will take you up on that for the both as I don't trust the ones I have so I will sell them as normal pied which I now know they are. It really is a case of buyer beware

Sorry to read you got dupped I have seen 1 or 2 of those adds [not here] and always hope people avoid them sorry you got caught up. I think its more a case of some have less than no idea so they make it up and we have seen that on other forums were the occasional person strays on and asks a question once a year and gets total mumbo jumbo genetics nonsense that has nothing to do with guinea fowl. All we can do is strongly recommend you use this forum only simply because we give you the facts and truth and its all from people that do breed them in big numbers and more than any others in australia.

As part of the new look coming.. APF is the home of Guinea Fowl in Australia
