I have 2 male per 1 female and that works excellent for fertility

Hi
I am also thinking of starting a flock. I am not breeding what would be the idea number so they stay on my property ( my neighbours have a small flock )
Would they just join the neighbours flock?
Should I have 1 boy to 1 girl?
How many is a good number to roam an 11 acre property?
Thanks

They may join the other yes or vice versa. If you start with 2 males to 1 females is good and no less than 6 to start with

Does it matter what colour they are to start off with 2 males to 1 female?

it made no difference to mine I started with the pearl and lavender and started with 2 or 3 males to 1 and they were fine
