I have a dozen keets about 8 weeks old and they have just gone out into a small pen a week ago. They are still very skittish, is there some secret to getting them to settle down and be less silly every time I walk in the pen.

We have 3 adults who we bought as adults and they are free range, they have really settled down and are not bothered by us at all, they even come running for food etc. They were not real quiet when we got them and they went free range straight away , we tried clipping a wing on each but they could still fly out of the chicken run LOL.

Thanks :)

Guinea fowl caged NEVER tame its only when they free range they become quite tame so you will just have to wait until they are free ranging

They get tame very quick when you let them out and food is a good incentive

If you keep them a little hungry like all mine are then it works perfectly
