Has anyone else had trouble with paralysis ticks on their GF ? I found one of my girls unable to fly and barely able to walk, picked her up to see what was wrong and found a paralysis tick on her neck, I removed the tick and kept her quiet for a couple of days and she seems to have recovered from it. Any other advice would be appreciated . Thanks |

They have been going into the long grass and scrub along our creek so the tick must have latched on then. I haven't seen them preening each other but they have been doing a lot of it themselves hopefully getting any nasty ticks at the same time. There was no way she could have got it from her neck as it was right under her throat between the wattles. Haven't had any ticks on the horses yet but their paddocks have very short grass and the GF are always patrolling there. |

That is the oddest thing as they eat ticks even off each other |
