This male should be very much admired. He is everythign the overseas buttercups are and more. His comb is closed at rear, unlike those overseas. The only thing needing to be bettered is the willow legs.

I also have females in the correct pullet pattern to match dsplaying the horn comb! Those pictures later when more grown up.

Now, you've seen my cockeral. Below is an example of females that I am trying to get close to. They are an American line. The UK type have females much lighter shade and heavier in body. If you look at Ann's site in UK( http://www.annschooks.co.uk/Sicilian%20Buttercups.htm ) , you can see how well her buttercups look but also notice the differnce to the USA type.
