Hello PP, Your Gertie would lay an egg a little bigger than 35gm. I would put my bet on Misty laying the little egg. Usually the silkies lay eggs in the vicinity of 30 -40gms and the Australorps 55gms +. The Australorps lay an off white colour shell. My silkies eggs shape, colour and gloss/matte finish vary depending on who lays the egg. Hope this helps. |
