Despite early concerns, the Australorps I got from Fernvale are looking great. If they don't have to be show quality, they're a good option.

Mine cost $6 ea at 4wo. I know she sold 15wo Australorps for $13. 11 weeks less of feeding, housing and waiting may be worth the extra $7ea.

There is apparently another breeder over at Fernvale of Australorps...apparently pretty good...BUT...the ones I saw that came from there looked very strange. Personally (that means ME) I'd be very hesitant.

Put an ad on Farmstock...and forward me any replies you're not interested in. I can always make room for more good Australorps.

Also, I'm hoping to get out to BunyaNutErnie's this week (fingers and eyes crossed). He might still have Australorps...I believe he had chicks for sale right now, too. I could bring them back your way if you're keen.

I am keen if you can get them and you know the price before hand I am more than very interested. Esspecially if your sure of the breeding (ie they are australorps) because I have only seen pics and aside from that I dont want to end up with an Afgahn black Turkey of something like that. WHen do you think you might go.

What's wrong with an Afghan Black Turkey? You want large eggs, don't you? The bigger the better, right?

I have complete faith in Ian's ability to provide pure Australorps. Contact him -- (BunyaNutErnie)
