I bought 2 chickens today, I was told they were hens and they were called rose combs has Ne 1 heard of them b4. If you have any photo s that would be great. I think we got a rooster that is all.

I now know I need a much bigger pen for good birds like sussex. My tractor is only <900> x 2200 it looked alright till you see how big Chickens get

I now know why the dinosaours died, a sussex got HUNGRY!!!!!!

It sure feels like that when you feed them. Sussex should be nice big birds whcih is why they make particularly good table birds for eating.

Here is some of my lot. I love them and they are lovely big birds. I have doberman dogs and they don't look small against my big dogs. They maybe be hugh but Larry is the most gentle rooster I have ever owned. He is such a character.

Sussex are Big , Real big . or at least they should be ;)

A well known judge once told me . The best way to judge a Sussex is to , Chop it's head off , Pluck it , gut it, and put it on a set of scales

A good Sussex should be BIG ;)

You should ask Bunyanutearnie for a photo of a rosecomb. His friend Midge won with a magnificient one at the Australorp and rare breeds show recently. They are a lovely small bird.
