For the last 2 Boxing Days I have inadvertently hatched babies (never planned).

This morning I realised it was time to see if this is going to become a tradition here.

The bator is now set with 32 mixed eggs (Belgian,Polish

and Pekin). Now by my math I am currently 2 days late in setting them.

Guess we will see if the b&p tradition is mean't to be or just a fluke of time management this year.

Fingers crossed for the tradition to continue into its 3rd successive year.

YES!!!

One little Belgian so far.....with others on their way.

3yrs in a row now. Still have to check the broody up the back and see if she has added to the mix as well.

Pics as soon as they are all out. Hoping for a Phyl baby.

It was yesterday when the Belgian hatched

Thus meaning the tradition has been kept.....as it was fully out BEFORE midnight ;)

Thanks for your permission!!

I'll be sure to pass it onto the next lot of eggs I set.
