Any one breeding the Welsummers or Welbars?
Do they lay blue eggs?

Yes, but building up my own stock.
Wellies lay a brown/olive egg.

Cheers,
Andrew

I have 28 varieties of chook, from Anconas to Wyandottes, and all their eggs taste the same.I have not looked into this, as they all eat the same mash but I would presume they should all taste the same. My quail and partridge eggs seem to taste the same too....and so far i haven't scored a pheasants egg..but plan to.
My Duck and Goose eggs taste different, as do the guinea fowl eggs ( a bit)

Cheers, Andrew

Duck and Goose eggs are good for cooking, do you use them for that Andrew?
