Most poultry breeders and keepers that I know of have one or two favourite chooks in their flock. Particular fine specimens for breeders or best personality for some others.
Whatever your criteria is, show us your favourite chooks!

Heritage pure breed Rhode Island Red from Barter and Sons Hatchery

I much prefer the white heritage RI the reds are too washed out these days like the one pictured and its a shame

Yep I agree the red is more a commercial hen breed

Thats not pure bred :lol: :lol: its a commercial brown and not healthy at that

Is this commercial cross good eating? they look very thin with little breast meats or is that just the ones pictured that are crook?
