Would you use turkey starter to feed your bantam chicks? If not, then don't use medicated turkey starter for them either Well I don't know that why I asked? also I though all turkeys starter was medicated? |

Sorry EnsuiteCoop, I did not mean any offence. I would not advise using turkey grower for bantam chicks because of the differences in their growth requirements and the potential problems I mentioned in my last post. Cheers Parvo |

The meds used are on the label of the bag as its law. Chick starter usually has - Sodium salinomycin at the rate of 60 mg/kg for the prevention of caecal and intestinal coccidiosis Turkey starter usually has - Lasalocid sodium at the rate of 95 mg/kg for the prevention and control of coccidiosis LooLoo |
