Fivefowls,
It is a very easy process to build a traing pen or two. Depending on the size required i.e. bantam or large, you can utilise old cupboards or make from scratch. I am not the best builder in town but the one I build do the job just fine. You can purchase show fronts from a number of suppliers, have a look in the Australasian Poultry magazine.
Basic sizes bantam 600x600x600, large 800x800x800, I know the pens at the show a slightly smaller generally 680mm wide for large fowl, but I like the extra room. I can have both males and females in the pen if required.
If you contact the local poultry club you may be lucky to find someone who is looking to sell, does not happen very often.

Purefeather do you paint the cupboards or just use the white melamine cupboards. Bunnings have the cupboards with 3 shelves quite cheap not sure of the overall dimensions but I will find out tomorrow. I was also going to buy the pre made show pens but like the idea of building my own thanks for the idea
