Are these pure bred Crested's more work than the non pure breeds?

I have never had pure breed of any kind so dont know but I reckon they would be more work and stuff that just want to throw some pellets and collect eggs or they are in the oven

That would make them worthless then if they crossed breed

I haven't either, but one day would like to try a pure breed and see if its worth it?
