we have our F1 on the ground and waiting for markings or lack thereof to show thru - from experience with my RPs the longer it takes for the markings to show the better they will exhibit as adults - just my opinion of course and only about my own birds
the F1s look smudged and messy colour wise atm

Thats good to here and how old are they? and what colours did you get? mine are sill to hatch . We do have another little project on the go as well "RED PALMS" with F1's on the ground and growing nicely,colours are palms with red markings and reds with palm markings so who knows what will come of them when grown

they are almost 12 weeks most are whiteish with blueish tinge abt them most with faint smudgey markings starting to show through a few are blueish with no markings 'yet'
Red with Palm markings = I have seen something like that O.S. and they were most attractive! they were pets in someones backyard near where I was staying

I'm working on it too, a pale lavender gobbler and a Royal Palm coloured hen. She should start laying this month I hope!
