I never thought of getting peacocks but I am being given some eggs by a friend who had them given to her. I said yes to the guinea eggs but the peacock eggs come as well, I just don't know where I am going to put 2 buckets full of eggs. I have an empty incubator & if it had been a couple of weeks ago I had 6 clucky hens, what is the best way for me to go with hatching the eggs & how do I look after them once they hatch? I have raised keets from the incubator so how do they compare? Lou

l think you just put in incubator and turn them over when need to and they would nearly be the same to raise as keets

Thanks for the advice, the egg situation was totally exagerated, the eggs where dirty & you could smell rotten ones. I was reasured they where ok so I bit my tongue & took them, I proceeded to clean them then sat them on a towel & smelt them 1 by 1, needless to say peacock egg number went down very quickly. 2 started to ouze through the shell, I've never seen anything like it, I should be thankfull they didn't explode, they went off with a bang when I tossed them. I took another 2 out of the incubator 12 hours later when I smelt them again, its now 48 hours & all is smelling sweet, well best it can  the end count is peacock eggs 5, guineas 8, oh nearly forgot the other suprise a doz jungle fowl eggs, we shall see I don't know weather to believe that 1 or not, they are a pale green & about bantam size :-? anyone know about jungle fowl???

Well the eggs are doing ok. I found an article that said jungle fowl eggs are a creamy colour so I went back to the egg middle girl & said they can't be jungle fowl eggs they're the wrong colour, she just comes straight out & says well they must be bantam araucana eggs & no answer to why she had told me jungle fowl. Thanks everybody, its nice to know there is help just an post away. Lou nearly forgot how hard is it to candle eggs??
