I wonder who will win, the sussex or me 
Whilst the initial outlay seems quite a bit I actually save around $1.50 - $2 a bag as they will discount a bit for a pallet buy.But with all my chickens to feed the grower crumble is costing me a small fortune.I am using nearly a bag a day

BUt I am going through a abg a week and 2 bags of chick starter. Now the 15 brahmas and 5 sussex are ready to move to grower crumbles I reckon at least 2 bags a week now. The pekins and silkies don;t eat as much. ONly another 30 sussex and brahmas ranging between 4 days old and 2 weeks old so when they get there then maybe 3 to 4 bags a week. I want to hang on to the brahmas and sussex until I make a decision on whioch ones to keep. Some of the boys will be going shortly but have been lucky this time around I seem to have more pullets than cockerels.
